About Me

I was born in Siirt, Turkiye. During my high school years, I received several awards in literature and arts competitions at the school and district levels, including achievements in essay writing, poetry, and painting. My lifelong passion for painting began in childhood and flourished through early art training from the renowned painter Ataman Oguz Yılmaz, which laid the foundation for my artistic journey even before my academic education.

During my undergraduate studies, I received specialized training in watercolor techniques, particularly focusing on Turkey’s endemic plants and birds, inspired by botanical and ornithological illustration. I also received specific training in origami, learning to craft paper crane birds with precision and care.

In 2023, I completed my Master’s degree (with thesis) at Marmara University, further advancing my artistic practice. Throughout this period, my work was exhibited in prestigious national art platforms such as BASE 2023, Bazaart 2024, Gallery Beylikduzu, IUSD, and Merqezart GunYuzu Artists Project. My pieces have also been acquired by notable private collections, including Taviloğlu, DenizBank, Bodrum Milta Marina Yacht Club, and the Şenkar Öztüzün Collection.

A significant milestone in my career was being selected as one of four young artists interviewed by journalist Elif Ergu for Trendyol Sanat, a major art initiative in Turkey. This was followed by another featured interview with Verda Ozer in the Hurriyet Pazar Supplement.

I continue to actively produce multidisciplinary artworks as part of my artistic practice at my studio in Istanbul.
